Wat Traimitr or The Golden Buddha Temple. The Golden Buddha Phra Buddha Maha Suwanna Patimakorn measures 313 centimeters in width from one knee to the other, is 398 centimeters in height and weighs approximately 5.5 tons. With the gesture of Subduing Mara.
Wat Su-That was built in the reign of King Rama I in 1807. He wanted a large temple at the heart of Bangkok as same as Sukhothai and Ayutthaya had Wat Maha That and like the one at Wat Phanan Choeng in Ayutthaya in order to contain a large sized Buddha image Phra Sri Sakayamuni was transferred to Bangkok.
The Golden Mount Stupa or Phra Chedi Phukhao Thong or Borom Banphot. The name Borom Banphot was given by King Rama IV of Bangkok to replace its original name of Phra Chedi Phukhao Thong. This religious monument is in the form of a golden stupa built on the top of a man-made hill seventy-six meters high.
Wat Benchamabophit or The Marble Temple. In 1899, King Rama V built Dusit Palace which covering up to the temple area. Ubosot is a structure of the four-gabled style, with four-tiered roof. It was built of Carrara marble imported from Italy.
Wat Bovornnivet. This monastery is a first grade royal temple of Ratchaworawiharn, which was built in the reign of King Rama III, by Somdet Phra Woraratchao Maha Sakdiphollaseep during 1824-1832, and its former name was Wat Mai. In 1836, King Rama III had invited his younger brother, Prince Mongkut (later King Rama IV) in momkhood resided at Wat RachaThiwat to live this temple.
